4 on 4 Summer Pond Hockey

This off-season, enjoy the benefits of the fast pace 4 on 4 Summer Hockey League that will be run by Hockey Director Chris Chelios. This high intensity league will not only develop confidence and endurance but will help you improve your game at both ends of the ice. We will have three tiers to make sure that teams are placed in the right level of play. 2 game tiering round will ensure proper placement.

4 Levels of Play

All levels feature a full ice format!

To ensure proper placement separate divisions will be determined by 2 game tiering round.

COLLEGIATE LEVEL - ACHA, NCAA, JUNIORS AND MINOR PRO
TIER ELITE –  Midget Major CSDHL and AAA Level)
TIER MAJOR – CSDHL U16 Level & COMPETITIVE VARSITY HIGHSCHOOL CALIBER PLAYERS 
TIER MINOR – CSDHL u15 / VARSITY HOCKEY CALIBER PLAYERS
TIER ROOKIE - NIHL/ JV Caliber players

* Note: NO TEAM WILL BE ALLOWED TO ROSTER MORE THAN 20 PLAYERS, THIS INCLUDES GOALIES AND SUBSTITUTES.

* Please be certain to review all Program Guidelines and the All Seasons Ice Rink Policies.

** Individual Sign Ups will be placed on a team or we will combine all sign-ups and make a team for the level they signed up for. Individual sign-ups please make-sure you put the correct jersey size on your registration form. If your not sure of your child's jersey size, please go to B&R Sports to try on a jersey. If you put the wrong jersey size on your registration form, please notify me ASAP. What ever you put on the registration sheet or online, this is what is given to you. If we have to order you a new jersey, an extra charge will be applied. You must have a 4 on 4 jersey to participate in the league.

May 14th, 2020 - 1st set of orders will be sent in and you will receive your jersey before the first game
May 28th, 2020 - 2nd set of orders will be sent in and you may possibly receive before first game but no guarantees.

 

League Frequently Asked Questions

After we sign up as a team or individual , when we will be notified of our first game?

By May 28th, 2020 is when you will be notified of your first game. After you play your first tiering game, you will then be placed in the appropriate division and week 2 schedule will be given to you while we download the rest of the schedule to the system.

Midgets could play there games on any of the nights listed above. If enrollment increases, a couple of regular season games maybe scheduled on Saturday Early evening.  Schedule will be released as soon as possible, Tiering games will start the first week of June. If there is a particular day you would like to play on, you can request but no guarantees. We will do our best to accommodate.

 

Do teams need matching jerseys and #’s?

Yes, all teams must have matching jerseys to participate in the league and #’s on the back. B&R Sports offers a special rate on team jerseys

 

Where do individual sign-ups get there jerseys?

After signing-up on-line or at the front desk for for the league, Individual sign-ups will get there jerseys on following dates if they register by......

Who are the coaches for the individual Sign-up teams?

Either a staff member from All Seasons Ice Rinks or as a parent if you would like to volunteer your time, it would be much appreciated

 

What is tiering?

On the first week, you will play a 2 tiering games against teams that registered at the level you are participating at. This will give us an opportunity to balance the levels so all teams at your level are at similar skill sets.  

 

After the first week of tiering:

  1. I will be sending out a email of the final brackets to all managers and coaches to check if they are at the appropriate level along with an excel sheet template to place your roster on.

  2. I will then post the schedule for week 2 of games while I upload the rest of the  schedule in the system

  3. When the remaining summer schedule is posted, I would then ask for managers to re-check the schedule
